Local Hospice Lottery (LHL) has raised over £23 million for Hospices through managing a lottery specifically within the Hospice sector. Having a lottery raises additional, long-term and sustainable funding which is an important part of any fund-raising portfolio. LHL can set up a lottery on behalf of a Hospice Partner or if there is an existing lottery, they can provide management of the lottery fund, reducing costs, increasing the income generated and ensuring legislative compliance.

Local Hospice Lottery provide lottery management and services to the Hospice sector in one of two ways.

New Lottery

If a Hospice does not currently benefit from income provided a lottery, they will set this up. This means the Hospice benefits from LHL’s experience, shared operational costs and the largest prize fund of any Hospice lottery. The established sales and marketing functions will promote the Hospice, opening access to a new group of supporters and providing the opportunity for cross promotion.

Existing Lottery

Transfer of an existing lottery scheme is easy and benefits the Hospice as it increases income raised from players whilst reducing operational costs. Hospice Partners can be assured that their players will transfer seamlessly as Local Hospice Lottery have a successful track record of managing several transfers over the past few years.

  • The shared prize fund and operations function, which substantially reduces your cost and can allow you to get more from each £1 your players spend
